There are many cleaning companies out there. While some of them are doing an outstanding job, others don’t really seem to care about the satisfaction of their customers. How can you tell if the cleaning company you hired is worthy of your money, or if you should start looking for a new one right away?
Here are a few questions you can ask yourself to help you figure out if your cleaning company is doing a good job.
1) Is my current cleaning company trustworthy?
As the people in charge of cleaning your workspace will have access to your facilities, you need to know you can trust them. Your cleaning company should let you know their employees have all been screened and carefully selected, and that they are fully bonded and insured.
2) Is my cleaning company providing me with services that meet my needs and my schedule?
Every business is unique, and has unique cleaning needs as well. You obviously don’t want to be wasting your money on cleaning services you don’t need, or on a daily cleaning visit when a weekly one would be more than enough. If your cleaning company can’t offer you a cleaning package that perfectly fits with your requirements and your schedule, maybe you should consider hiring another company.
3) Do my employees need to clean up after the cleaning team has visited our facilities?
If your employees feel the need to clean up the office after the cleaning team has left, your cleaning company is doing a terrible job. Make sure they aren’t forgetting to empty the trash cans, to clean the bathrooms and to vacuum the floors. Your cleaning team should leave your facilities cleaner, not messier.
4) Do I feel like my workspace is being well taken care of?
More and more cleaning companies use green products to perform their cleaning services. It’s nice to know your cleaning company cares about the environment, but that they also care about your health, and about not damaging your furniture, your carpets and your windows with harsh chemical cleaners. Make sure your cleaning company uses the right products and processes.
5) Does my cleaning company follow up with me to make sure I am satisfied?
A good way to know if your cleaning company cares about your satisfaction is to pay attention to how often they are following up with you to make sure you are satisfied with their services. If your cleaning company never asks you if you are happy with their job, they might not really care.
6) If there is a problem with my cleaning services, will my cleaning company try to fix it?
No matter how careful and caring your cleaning company is, your cleaning team can still make mistakes. If ever a problem occurs, you should let them know as soon as possible. If they do nothing at all to fix the situation, they are not worth your money or your time.
